Thanks for the replies. I followed superplakis's advice and can confirm that the picons are now showing. placing the picons on the hdd in /hdd/picon did not seem to work on my Vu+ Duo. I have upgraded the BalckHole image to the latest 1.4.4 and this is still true. The only way I could get this to work was by placing the picons in /usr/share/enigma2/picon

Hope this helps somebody. If anybody knows how to get this to work from the hdd I'd welcome the advice.

Cheers

To avoid to have flash memory problem and to lose your picons every time you change your firmware, you had better to install your picons in /media/usb/picon

My advice is not to install picons on HDD as in this way HDD will be always running.
Much better to install them on usb.

Specifically, you need to do and simlink that will drive you to the script where you want the folder to the HDD.
Let's say that you copied to the built-Picone HDD in the folder: / media / hdd / picon
(Note: you can actually put them in a folder of any name, but come on, let it be understandable to everyone)

The above example will simlink for the telnet command to type:
Code:
ln-s / media / hdd / Picon / media / usb / Picon

Rgs,
with this command will the HDD be always running?

BH 2.0.2 working picon location on Solo2 default BH skin is /usr/share/enigma2/picon.
Picon's aren't working from /hdd/picon, I didn't test USB.

On external USB mounted as /universe/ in /picon/ folder they are not working. I didn't test FAT32 formatted USB on Solo2 BH2.0.2 Rev.C

As I remember by default all picons @BH server will go to USB,,,, media/usb/picons

On USB mounted as /universe/ folder media/usb/picon is not working. I'll try picons instead of picon folder.

I think, that the result will be the same. I'm using it now in flash /usr/share/enigma2/picon/ and they are OK.

It doesn't work because the path for picons has to be /media/usb/picon and not /universe/picon.

You should create two partitions on your usb stick and mount them as /universe and as /media/usb ;)
