I think it is a switchable tuner DVB-T2/DVB-C , or you'll be able to use a different type .
In solo 4K we have switchable tuner DVB-T2/DVB-C.

Wow ... at last I can see an upgrade for my VU+ Duo 2 model ... the Ultimo 4K!! :)

Question ... I take it a FBC tuner can be used with a LNB as per previous models to receive as before (e.g. like I have in my Duo 2?)

Is it possible for someone to take a better pic of the rear of the Ultimo 4K please?

Thanks.

Nitemare ;)

I think Solo 4K and Ultimo 4K is very equal. Why upgrade to Ultimo...?

Solo4K is fixed dual fbc dvb-s2 tuners with 1 pluggable tuner slot (upto 10 tuners effectively)

Ultimo 4K is twin dual fbc dvb-s2 or dvb-c tuners (so you can choose upto 16 dvb-s2, or dvb-c or 8 of each), and then still have twin dvb-s2, dvb-c or dvb-t/t2 aswell (so thats upto 18 tuners effectively)

Then there is the extra cpu power (twice the power being quad core and 20k dmips), extra ram, twin 1080p transcoding, 5ghz wi-fi, and the hdmi in

Twin 1080P transcoding....?
On the Ultimo pictures above, it says that the processor is Quad core 20k dmips and it also says Dual Transcoding.

As far as I know, the only cpu that is quad core and 20k dmips, supports dual 1080p transcoding
