how-to IPTV streams

sort of quick how-to IPTV directly from the channel list bouquet, in general:

for .ts streams

#SERVICE 1:X:X:X:X:X:X:X:X:X:link_to_your_stream#DESCRIPTION any_stream_name_you_want

or

#SERVICE 1:X:X:X:X:X:X:X:X:X:link_to_your_stream
#DESCRIPTION any_stream_name_you_want

and for all non-ts streams (rtsp, rtmp, etc):

#SERVICE 4097:X:X:X:X:X:X:X:X:X:link_to_your_stream#DESCRIPTION any_name_you_want

and two hints:

1. in the link_to_your_stream you have to replace all the colons : with %3a

eg (fake link):

#SERVICE 4097:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:rtmp%3a//blah.blah.zy%3a1234/%3amusic.stream
#DESCRIPTION Blah,Blah

2. entries can be added to any bouquet in /etc/enigma2:

START TELNET
stop enigma2 (Command init 4) > add your entry(ies) > start enigma2 (Command init 3)

Hi guys ),
got my Vu+ Solo Se v2!!! yuuhoo!!

Loaded the IPTV channels as instructed (by DreamboxEdit) so I do have a list of channels in the correct format.
But when I zip to one of the channels it shows like for 2-3 seconds then freezes :(((
The same channels list works perfect on android TV box or on PC. The connection is 100MB WAN, STB connected to Ethernet directly to my router.

Any suggestions how can I solve the problem?

Thanks.

For Iptv better use Open Black Hole image or older BH image.

Hi
Is there a way to suppress audio (disable) from a rtsp stream?

I have this IP camera I'd like to watch on my Duo2 but it won't play. The stream has audio but no data on it (camera doesn't even have microphone!). I had the same problem playing the stream on linux, without suppressing audio stream does not play (it waits forever for audio data).

If someone knows a way to disable audio from a stream, please let me know.

Hi, I had the same problem. I solved it disabling the audio stream form the configuration interface of the camera (exposed by web server) and now works well.

Another question:
I'd like to record from this channel but I'm not able to record strem; this is the error:

some help?
tks in advance
g.

No way to do that on my camera, like I said, only video settings configuration is possible. Cheap ip cameras use to have this kinds of problems!..but the quality it's pretty good for the price!

For me, playing that ipcam on the STB it will only work if video player could ignore the audio stream, like on linux/windows PCs.
