LCD4LINUX Solo4K

But do you see your VU+ in your network? Do you have ftp access to it? Because, first of all you have to be sure that your VU+ is in the network. If your router sees it, then we can go on.
If it's not, the problem could be anything, starting from the simplest: the LAN cable ;)
But now we are going OT. It's always better to open a specific thread than joining a conversation, because here the problem has nothing to do with L4L, based on what you say, but it's a general connection issue.

Hello, I have a vu + solo 4k and lcd has changed font size. How can I solve it? Thank you very much.
I have installed blackhole 3.0.3

I don't know who's the author of this great plugin and I don't know if he reads this forum, but I'd like to ask him if the rec.png file could be changed with something like the one I'll attach, because the original one is too dark, particularly watching the Solo4K display, and also the Duo2, which are my boxes, from a side perspective.
The problem is that I have to replace the original rec.png with my file after each major update ;)

OK. Only, it seems he cannot be contacted in PM. So, joergm6, what do you think? could it be nicer as the default rec.png?
Thanks for your excellent plugin!

I tried the picture, but I do not like it. It looks frayed, the white is over-radiating. But the current picture is much brighter. It will not be right for everyone, unfortunately.

As I said, it was just an example. Actually, taken that, at least in Solo4K and in Duo2 I didn't notice these defects, I must say that the original one is surely not bright as I can't see it properly if I look at my box from a side view. Looking exactly in the front of display it's quite OK, instead and not a big issue. So, maybe you can find another picture more suitable also for a not orthogonal view?

Update:
It randomly disappears and the lcd display turns to black which is annoying.
Sometimes it comes back with restart and sometimes not.
Any solution?

Update 2:
I uninstalled the "Arm" one, and installed the non-Arm version from feed.
Interestingly, this works as it should and doesn't disappear randomly leaving the lcd display black.
It was mostly happening when returning from media player and after using satfinder or manual scan, but this one correctly changes screens without going away or turning off lcd4linux.
I made a few modifications on the config file that 'xrobertas' posted in page 2. (Thx xrobertas)
Here are two caps showing 'On' and 'Stand by' screens:

And the config files if anyone likes these:

Here my lcd4linux map with 4.9r2 version and customized mpeg2 pic into mpeg4 pic because the most channels are in mpeg4 and the sunrise & sunset are better working in this version instead of 4.7r4 version.
Overwrite the present lcd4l map with the new downloaded in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions reboot box and go ;)
Config file not included!!
