Open BlackHole Online Update

Open Black Hole 4.2, or Black Hole 3.0.6, haven't been released, for the VU+ Zero, due to the receiver not having enough power for the new features. The same as older VU+ models.
Open Black Hole 4.1 will do everything your receiver can handle.

Our team has not produced such image Open BlackHole 4.2 ( for 1st Generation Vuplus STB´s including the Zero ), though there is no support for such images ( generally also known as backed up images ).

version 4.1 is no longer updated, on another site I saw a 4.2 VUZero version ....

Remember that what you saw, if it was not, as Mick wrote, for the Zero4K, it could be a fake: you are 100% sure to download the original BHs and OBHs only in this forum, managed by their coders.
This doesn't mean you can't find (O)BH somewhereelse, too; but, why risk? ;)

When I try to do online update I get the following message ... " There has been an error, please try again later. If this issue persists, please check www.vuplus-community.net"

Any ideas on how to fix please???

Thanks.

Currently I'm on 4.2.012 software

Hi ExO that did remove the above message but I'm afraid I now get the following error ...

"Error - Problem retrieving update list." If this persists please rcheck/report on forum.

A question to the developers: Is this on purpose that if the VU+ Uno 4k SE will be switched into Sleep under Open Black Hole and it's actual .img that the watched IPTV stream still continues by downloading? When I watch a IPTV stream and I switch the VU+ into sleep the network traffic stays the same - only switching off the VU+ stops downloading the stream.

Yes otherwise it is not possible to record iptv if the box is in standby.

Thanks. It would be appreciated to adjust this because mostly I could imagine nothing will be recorded and therefore the box needs to be switched off. If I then start again I always have to restart Enigma2 (GUI) because of the IPTV bouquet will initially not be loaded - only after Enigma restart.

Well if the coders decide to edit it, that is down to them.

However if you have an issue with your setup, then I suggest switching to a sat / cable / terrestrial (depending on your setup) channel before you put the box in standby.
