Hi there, i have installed my black-hole-3-0-9-c image vu+ duo 4k device and later on i have send the enigma2-plugin-extensions-xcplugin-iptv-mod-lululla_6.7_all.ipk plugin with telnet to my device but plugin has not been ınstalled. I received a message from telnet about whether Oe 2.0 plugins are suitable for black-hole-3-0-9-c. I would like to get information from you about how to install the xcplugin to my device. Thank you.

You should contact the plugin's author, then, in its Github space, not the BH coders.
But, my advice is: if a plugin is not among the ones downloadable by an image, you risk to make the image unstable.

i think the plugin owner has the responsibility of the black hole software as well as the responsibility. I believe you will do your part in making your software suitable for the plug-in. My Regards.

This is not reasonable: it would be like asking that who produce or releases O.S., MacOs, Windows, Linux, should check if all the software produced is compatible to the O.S.: nonsense.

What you think or believe is not what is actually true. The plugin programmer is an independent who has nothing to do with BH and realizes his product for almost all E2 images and does not necessarily have a VU + decoder with BH image.

Only the author of the plugin can fix it, and by the way, the plugin is obsolete and was descontinued by the author, so:

1) Totally OT: open a thread about your specific problem. Is it the plugin AUTObouquetmaker? Is it the tuner configuration?

I'm running Vu+ Duo 4k BH 3.0.9 .L with a 2TB HDD, 2 DVB-S tuners and 8 DVB-T tuners
I've done what I can to get a reproducible set of circumstances:
- Press the PVR button on the standard remote
- Select a recorded program and press OK
- Recorded show begins playing (I have my standard pre-start recording time set to 4 minutes, so want to skip forward)
- Press '9' key (programmed to FFWD 4 minutes) or '6' key (90 seconds) or '1' key (30 seconds) or the right arrow next the OK button or the FFWD button
- The program keeps playing and the spinner appears in the top left of the screen
- After 15-20 seconds, the spinner disappears and the selected button action takes place
Can anyone suggest any logging I can use to try to find out what is causing the delay in response or a fix?

On a theoretical basis, you should not have this issue, because what you are doing is absolutely normal. So:
1) the first possibility is that the HDD is faulty and it does not succeed to read some sectors at the first attempt. This 1st hypothesis is not very likely, though.
2) Did you format the HDD by the BH itself, ad so is it formatted as Ext4? If not, do it. If it's already a Ext4 disk, you can also try to check it (Verify file system).
3) It is more likely that yours is a software issue. To check that, the simplest thing is to reflash your box (you can save a FullBackup before that, of course, to be able to restore the current situation afterwards in case the new install does not solve) and leave it totally clean from plugins of every kind, included the supposed harmless autosettings plugins (not so harmless, sometimes): just flash and try some recordings (possibly long enough to engage the HDD).
Try this new install for a appropriate time, because IT devices and software tend to be... a bit naughty.

To be honest I can't remember how I formaated the HDD, I may have just plugged it into the box without formatting
When I try to to a filesystem check from the BH GUI it immediately errors with "fscheck failed"
I'll copy everything off it using ftp and try reformatting then try OBH while I'm making such major alterations!
Can you recommend a good ustility that preserves folder structures etc. in case I decide to go back to BH and need to restore the old HDD folder/data structures after experimenting with OBH?

Not needed ... The same structure is enough.
1) Copy the content to your PC.
2) Initialise your Vuplus HDD using: ( EXT4 FS )
3) Draw it back from your PC to your HDD ( vuplus STB ).

Just to clarify what @nunigaia correctly wrote, by "structure" he probably means all what you see in the root folder of your HDD.
But, if what you want to save are just your recordings, they are store in the folder
/media/hdd/movie
There there are all your recordings and nothing else.
Obviously, if you stored in your HDD, for instance in its root, some other important content (I do it, for instance), you have to copy this content, too.

Hi , I am using many years Black Hole images I started with duo but now I can't update my image because in my country your website is filtered and I can't use online update would you help me to solve my problem
