Vu+4K Questions.

Good morning from Greece.

I have the vu + duo 4k receiver and I would like if I am allowed to ask two questions:

a. I can no longer connect through the vu + HD Payer application that I download from the Google play store on my Android mobile phone or tablet. I have to say that I put the nternet address correctly, but I keep getting it wrong. Until recently I was connecting normally.

b. Is there a way to add an additional Greek subtitle finder to the receiver menu?

PS: The receiver's operating system is black Hole, and it is connected with an ethernet cable.

Thank you..Screenshot_20200731-122409_Vu+ PlayerHD.jpg

I use tiMote ... it is no longer available on the Play Store but one search is enough to find the APK.

Internal/external use, stream/transcoding ...

I never got along with the Vu + HD Player.

[QUOTE = "p.rodrigues, post: 270775, member: 20523"] Χρησιμοποιώ το tiMote ...

[/ QUOTE]
..forgive me but I could not find any evidence for this. Is it easy for you to give me a link?

Have you tried, instead of AutoConfiguration, the Manual one?
There are also other similar apps, but I know them for iOS: so, I don't know if they exist also for Android.
e2RemoteLite
en2Player
for instance.

... yes, I tried both ways, but unfortunately there was no result.

It would be a solution if there was an application for android, as I do not have an iOS device (mobile phone, tablet).

..forgive me, but I do not find the appropriate application in the link you gave me!

Just click here ... when you open the link, it looks like this and clicks to download the APK.

It is active ... I think I have it kept here, I can send it to you. This is for Android.

Have you enabled OpenWebIF in the VU+, as the app warns?

..this is exactly what I download, but the application concerns the management of my finances. It has nothing to do with my satellite receiver! I'm doing something wrong,

Let me tell you
i have now tested the VU + player
it works perfectly with my Duo 4k Black Hole with both Android tab and my mob phone using transcoding mode
(without transcoding the video is not stable and blocks the image)
Transcoding must be configured in VU + player , box configuration >> ON
(transcoding configuration and quality can be configured in the box BH image standard port for transcoding is 8002)
So the problem is with you.

But your problem is primarily the connection to the box

Did you type correctly in VU + player , box configuration
Username: root
and Your password

OpenWebInterface must be enabled on Yes
http port is standard 80 (00080 in the box)

My tab and mob phone finds automatic Duo4K
in VU + player

..would it be easy for you to upload your own photo with the settings you have made? It would definitely help me!

For better communication, use the English language in the box ... and do not take pictures on the TV screen, with the box menu use OpenWebif.

I don't understand what your problem is with downloading the tiMote APK and then putting it on your smartphone ...

You have to configure your OpenWebif in the box ... I have this:

06353Ma.png

For now we are talking about internal stream/transcoding, but as I need it is this function abroad, with this configuration in OpenWebif you will have to define an access password. Then, by telnet, write the word "passwd" (without quotes) and define the respective one. You will notice that every time you access, for the first time in a browser session, OpenWebif you will be asked to use usr/passwd.

Then the settings in the app ... for internal stream:

For internal transcoding:

note: I see no reason to use pure stream for a smartphone ... transcoding is more than enough in terms of image quality, to no longer take into account the saving of mobile data.

For the Vu app (which I don't use) the stream, as transcoding seems to be complicated:

And I also think (why did you post in greek???) you must enable HTTP authentication, because I think is set to NO at the moment.

If it is only for use on the same network (at home), you do not need to configure OpenWebif, as you do not need to login (usr/passwd).

If it is for internal use you should not do it ... now for external use it is another layer of protection. But the app either works with this active or not, as long as the app has a login.
