What kind of problems do you have?

From your logs (thanks for that!) seems you have successfully associated your box to your wireless network.
Looks carefully your DNS and gateway configuration if you use static IP addressing instead of DHCP from your router/access point.

Also, you can try to ping your box from other PC connected to the same network with the command
Code:
ping 192.168.1.180

The ping command has this syntax:
Code:
ping IP_Address

no problem ping the box i have to set up static ip or else no ip adress, because dhcp don't work, i can tranfer files to the box and recieve files, but if i wont to go online with the box like mytube player and streaming and use the web browser it dosen't work so that my problem.

Ok verify carefully (CAREFULLY) DNS configuration and gateway IP address.
If you can ping your box inside your LAN (wireless or wired is not relevant) the USB Wireless Dongle works regularly but you MUST check DNS and gateway IP address.

everything i set as it always has being and this vu+ solo 2 is latest revision from korea i got i yesterday so there must be something that makes it fuck up because i have 2 of the same Wireless dongle and same problem, but as i can say is that it Works with pli 3.0 beta no problem downloading plugins from the internet, so i think it is a Black hole driver issue, also no problem setting it up to dhcp with pli image it also Works great. but no go with Black hole image.

I have not the same Wireless dongle
but if you have Network connection with your box
I think internet connection must work.
But you must setup/type manually
Gateway
Primary DNS
====================================
So
If you're using a fixed address and you have connection with your box
then setup/type manually
Gateway
Primary DNS

If you're using a router then this address for the router is your Gateway and Primary DNS.

If you not have connection with Your box set first to DHCP (YES)
restart your box and set all manually
in Wireless Network Configuration.

Restat your box.

this is the setup i have like in your case but no go and sometimes it disconnect the Wireless, but as i say with pli image no problems Works great.
so it seems like a driver problem

tango110

Vu+ User
me do either because why does it Work with another image and not Black hole, i have a vu+ duo and with the same wifi dongle i also Works with Black hole image but why does it not Work with solo 2 ?

Try to connect to another USB ports

front/rear

no luck it seeems like smethning is blocking the way the the www but what it is i dont know but surely its a driver problem and the box cant keep the dongle because with Network test sometimes it loses the contact to the dongle.

I had a similar case
when my Wifi is connected directly to the rear connector.
But now I use a USB extension cable ,and seeing a dozen neighbors wifi.
(I have put my wifi dongle to another place with USB extension cable)
I think the cause of my problem is probably
interference from other devices on the table.

possible
they are using somewhat differently.
But I do not understand where is your orginal VU + Solo2 wifi dongle

Matrix10

Administrator
Too bad it's so
VU+ Solo2 Wifi works very well in the box and on the computer,
very sensitive and quite fast.
I use it on a laptop, rather than wifi in it.

I have a small version with 8192cu interface

that okay you delete the link no probs at all i can tell you that i ordered a Ferguson wifi dongle and it Works on all vu+ models plus gigablue and many others so i hope this will be my solution to my problem and it it smaller than the dongle that you have but i will let you know when i get the dongle ordered from uk and i live in denmark so i takes some days before i get it also a dvb-t usb i have ordered for fun it has chipset RTL2832U / R820T is there any support for that for vu+ i know that this is a Little off topic
