Language translators

@all translators:
There is no hurry, but i just would like to have confirmation that all people that gave availability to translate but didn't post translation yet, still want to do it.

Thx to all.

Hi Tamaki,

I believe that it should be better that you share an excell document (google doc for example), so anybody can access it and add translation to it.
It would be faster to translate and update, and you do not need to wait for 1 complete file, everyone can contribute to the community!

You just need to have a script to save each language detail (tab where are the specific country translation) in a .po file...

My idea is based on an example for translation of an android app!
The author create a google doc and everyone have aceess to translate it in a proper language:
Code:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqDmTb8hPk02dFdVUnBaa1RDc184NlQtNk9veTZqRXc#gid=0
You can reuse the same concept to translate VU+ labels!
You just need is to found a way to reuse your google doc file and create a script (in notepad++ for example) to build automaticlly the .po file...
This will take some time to create the google doc the 1st time, but after that any new translation will be easilly shared and updatable.

I hope you understand my idea.

I don't think, that it's a good idea. Yes, we live in a world, where internet is accessible from quite all places in a world. But sometimes you don't have (and you don't want to :fie: - holidays) have this access and you want to use your files on PC.
Other think is multilanguage file - you can do a mistake in a language you are not speaking and you will not be able to correct it.
My opinion is, that actual solution - separate files for every language - is for now working very well (in my case).

I use Poedit for translating, can I use Word to copy it all into one file?

I think, that is possible, but you should use less agressive editor (Wordpad) and pay attention to strings at beginning and end of file.
Next time to avoid problems, don't split original *.po file.

Ok, what should I pay attention to? I am not a coder, only a translater, so want it to be correct...

If you are using poedit from here: http://www.vuplus-community.net/boa...grade-translations-of-black-hole-image.11181/ , there is not a problem. You can try with Wordpad. Open in poedit your two files, vaildate and save them.
Next you can open 2nd file in wordpad and "copy" all strings except header, afterthen open your first file and "paste" at the end copied strings.
Save and verify all in poedit.

Allmost done, 50 strings to finish and test it. @Tamaki: Give me (if you want) OK to publish Beta after testing.
:thanks:

Hi.
Předělal jsem českou lokalizaci, protože ta původní je plná chyb. Dodělal jsem to co šlo. Ne všechny řetězce se ale zobrazují v češtině. Asi chyběly v .pot souboru.

I remade the Czech localization, because the original is full of errors. I finished what was going on. But not all strings are displayed in English. Guess in the .pot file.

I appreciate your help, but I can't use your file for corrections or verifications, please, use this thread http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/threads/bh-official-czech-translation.12600/ and last file from there to test and report your suggestions and please, do not modify cs.po. I'll do it for you after your testing and report.
It's a good think to make an *.txt, where will be written (for example): STBu > STB, kanaly > programy, box > prijimac and so on.
I can do corrections in a short time, but checking 3000 strings of corrected file for mistypes and test all in box needs a lot of time.
I'm working on adding of missing/non translatable strings.

Thanks for your feedback.

Please create a sticky "BH official Danish Translation" thread

Thx for your help.
For the begining you should translate default language, then you could add new strings, maybe paolino can give you some information.

Please read this thread it is very important:

Good work.
