HOWTO UPGRADE Black Hole image SAVING ALL YOUR SETTINGS:

1) From your current installed image goto -> Menu -> Setup -> System -> Customize
- Set Setup mode to Expert
2) Goto Menu -> setup -> Software Managment -> Advanced Options -> Choose backup location
- Set Harddisk or set Usb but ONLY IF YOU HAVE NOT HDD
3) If you are expert goto Choose backup files and select all the things you want. If you are not expert skip this step.
4) Go back to previous menu and click on Backup System settings
5) Flash your box with latest Black Hole image and answer yes when the box will ask you if you want to restore your settings.

1) From your current installed image 2.2.x goto -> Menu -> Setup -> System -> Customize
- Set Setup mode to Expert
2) Goto Menu -> setup -> Software Managment -> Advanced Options -> Choose backup location
- Set Harddisk or set Usb but ONLY IF YOU HAVE NOT HDD

Not,
because if image enigma do not find skin it will start automatically with the default skin.

What if I copy /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/ and /etc/enigma2/ from 2.02
to my PC and then back to 2.0.3 ( stopping Enigma2: telnet init 4 ) ? Can I save settings and plugins this way?

Ciao Shiro, non ho capito, che differenza c'è con il personal backup. Ho letto questa raccomandazione e pensavo non fosse possibile :
Attenzione: a causa di aggiornamento del kernel e di cambiamenti strutturali i Personal Backup dei precedenti Black Hole image non sono compatibili con la versione 2.0.3.

Ciao Shiro, non ho capito, che differenza c'è con il personal backup. Ho letto questa raccomandazione e pensavo non fosse possibile :

La differenza è che il personal backup non fa il backup solo dei settings ma anche di altre cose varie che usano librerie di sistema che sono cambiate e quindi non compatibili.
