And when you power off, wait at least a minute before turning it on (not only for drivers update, but also after reflash, image update and so on).
It will saves you from a lot of headaches (verified especially on my Vu+Duo, on Solo2 too).

Thank you. I should have done that but i didn't.
However none of the above explained if it is normal to have a set of drivers on the root directory except of the lib/modules......... file.

When you are using *.tar.gz file for drivers update, it is normal, that you have to put them in /lib/modules/kernel_version/extra/ directory manually.
An *.ipk file will overwrite them automatically. So when you do not want to do a manual installation from *.tar.gz, search for *.ipk version.

Hi!
Does anyone know where to read up on the details regarding the "high bitrate problem in CI", fixed in 20130110 driver release (solo2 driver only)?

My Solo 2 fails to communicate correctly with the CI module after startup or reboot of the box, resulting in HD channels not decoding correctly.

I need to go into Setup / Common Interface and toggle the High bitrate support setting from Yes to No and the back to Yes to get HD-channels to decode / display properly.

The box is running Black Hole Firmware 2.0.1 Rev A, Build 2013-02-22-vuplus_experimental

Hi, have the request. Where can I find the latest drivers for Duo2? I read the post how to update drivers, but cannot find where can I download the latest drivers from. Have BH 2.0.4 image. Thank you.

Hi there. I am running the latest black hole image on my vu+ duo 2 and have tried to update the last two previous driver updates. But every time I have tried my box is stuck on boot up on the "double your expectation" on the LCD screen. I have to revert to the drivers I originally backed up. Do I need to wait for an on line image backup to get the latest drivers? Thanks for your help.

Have you updated the CFE bootloader? If not, visit: http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/threads/duo2-cfe-bootloader-update.13413/

It's very strange. I use the same receiver with the same image, my is working, your is not. To be honest, I have no idea why it's like that or what is wrong. Maybe, try to reinstall the image.
