OBH and Vu+ image 3.0 open multiboot?

Is it possible to have Open Black hole and the new Vu+ image 3.0 in multiboot? I have tried but it is not working for me. I always get crash and need to reflash OBH to flash.

Is it because of the different drivers and Kernel?

Using Vu+ SoloSE V2.

I´ve installed on Duo2 ... and have not issues with Vuplus Original OE 3.0
Maybe give it a try with another USB Pen Drive ... Remember that you have to format it:

FS required EXT4 for Open Multiboot. Better use an USB pen drive than an HDD.

Follow this guide --> http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/threads/how-to-use-open-multiboot-on-open-black-hole.23270/

Thanks, but I already have OpenVix and Openpli installed on the USB pen, so that part works fine.
Will try with a newer version of OE 3.0, the one I tried was from 2015-10-21 and there are more newer now.

As a side note, will there be a OBH based on OE 3.0? Or is it not stable enough?

So reading this thread:
OE 2.0 and OE 3.0 are compatibles?.. Can run both on the same receiver?
Reading the information on the OE 3.0 imagen says :

WARNING: This Image has the latest drivers and CAN NOT be installed in multiboot. The image MUST be installed in flash.

But According with your results OE 3.0 imagen can run (in boot) into Open Black Hole 2.0 (flash) imagen..
right??

Enable or Disable from YES to NO ... to show Open Multiboot menu on BOOTING.

NOTE: This MENU option -> is only visible when you boot from Open Multiboot Plugin.

I have opened the openMultiboot Manager on my Vu+ Duo with BH 3.0.1 in flash and the following three images stored below : 1) vti-image-bm750-20151117144823_vti_9-0-1_usb 2) Black Hole 2.1.7 and 3) OpenPLi-4.0-beta-vuduo-2015-1208_usb . When I push OK on for instance the vti image I get the question "Set next boot to vti-image-bm750-20151117144823_vti_9_0_1_usb" and get the option YES/NO. When I press YES my Vu+ Duo starts rebooting, but after a while it boots with the image BH 3.0.1 (which I have in flash )still there, but no VTI image . What is wrong ? Why doesn't the vti image start ?

1) - Boot the flash image

2) - Acess the OpenMultiboot Plugin

3) - Rename the VTI flash Image to a shortest name like per example: VTI_9.0

Try to boot it another time.

If this don´t solve your issue ... delete the VTI image installed in OpenMultiboot.
Download a newer VTI 9.0.1 image.
Rename the zip file to a shortest name too..
Install ( unpack the image ), and boot it..

Forget it,with Blackhole in flash the plugin openmultiboot only works at Nunigaia.:)

Thanks for your answer..
Is possible opposite set up ?
Open black hole 0.1 (flash) & Blackhole 3.0.1 (boot) ?,..
Probably not due the message:
WARNING: This Image has the latest drivers and CAN NOT be installed in multiboot. The image MUST be installed in flash.

If your answer is Not. What are my options with my current installation (open black hole (flash), and the rest of images in boot:
I am thinking:
1) I need unplug my usb (stored all boot images)
2) flash my receiver using Black hole 3.0.1
3) plug my usb and use my Boot images

or I need to start all multiboot process again using Black hole 3.0.1 in flash
pd: sorry "kurben" to "hack" your thread

The message is related to old meoboot and barry allen and will be removed.
With openmultiboot you can install in multiboot every image and also bh (if it will works or not is another problem ah ah ah ).

Does this mean that images installed in multiboot won't work at all ? Why not ? I flashed Black Hole 3.0.1 on my Vu+ Duo and installed three images, but when I tried to open them nothing happened except restasting BH 3.0.1 .

black hole and Pli derivated images have a different bootup.
So it is better to have in flash Open Black Hole if you want to install in multiboot Pli derivates like vix openatv ecc...
