{Video} VU+ SE V1,V2,Zero, Dou2 Higher symbol Problem

hi there
now it is almost month since these issue is reported.no sign of driver release fixing this should i be still hopeful that solution is there or it is not fixable due to hardware flaws.

After reading through these posts, I am a very unhappy customer who purchased a Vu+ solo se v2 with a 1 x twin dvb-c for cable use only. During a service scan some channels never get picked up. I'm sure there is a bug with the tuners. I've only had this box 3 weeks done major testing with different images but get same result something is just not right with these VU Boxes.

This is not a related discussion about Cable tuners but about Sat Tuners. For your problem you must ask your Cable Operator about the cable signal quality ( measuring it ).

Listen, it's a VU problem regardless of sat or cable that's the whole point which you obviously didn't understand. Nothing to do with signal quality I can assure you of that !!

Have you readed the topic discussion?
Do you have High Symbol rates in cable tuner?
Are you sure that your cable provider hasn´t a filter on the tap that gives you the signal.?
How do you know the signal is good enough?

  • Open another thread regarding your issue, descriving your problem.
  • Image used ( BlackHole, OpenBlackhole 01, or OpenBh 04 )
  • STB model you own
  • type of tuner
  • Your Cable Provider ( and services you can not handle ).

Note: Only a user that has the same equipment and the same service, can give you feed back about your issue.

Please, don´t mix topics.

Actually the topic here is "fault with the VU box" All I am saying is that regardless of Sat or Cable the problem remains with the tuners. I'm sure you can understand that. Thank you for your understanding.

Your problem is completely different, and relates to cable.
So far you have failed to provide any relevant information, or started a new thread, in the correct section.

Your problem is completely different, and relates to cable.
So far you have failed to provide any relevant information, or started a new thread, in the correct section.

VU+ technical team has tested fault many weeks ago and acknowledged it

they are in sleep mode and reasons could be faulty hardware otherwise they have rectified it


VU+ support is really terrible and its first sign of destruction of any brand and company

That's a poor statement, VU+ might lose business in Asia, due to this problem, but as I've mentioned, most of us have no access to these higher S/R channels, so don't even notice.
Others have mentioned a VU+ receiver that does pick up these channels, a newer model, so hopefully they will research the problem, and either come up with a fix, or at least inform owners of the cause, of the problem.
Some of the psots, on this thread, and other threads, are simply designed to keep the problem highlighted, but this forum has nothing to do with the VU+ manufacturers, so perhaps you should keep contacting VU+, and publicising the problem, on other platforms.

But you forgot their was same issue on 28 east and vu+ couldn't fix it and eventually they paid transponder fee to the broadcaster to change the parameters


i have described this issue on many forums which are mainly funded by VU+ and everyone says this not our concerns
