Hi, I am using Duo2, after doing a total shutdown by turning off the main electricity supply and turn-on again, there is no image using Rca, but there is image in Hdmi. Could make it work using Rca output? I am using an old Tv with only Rca input and no Hdmi. Thanks

Hi Alexwilmac, I had tried to the lowest resolution and still didn't work, I don't think is the resolution problem. Hi EvO, please help!

Hi Ev0, I think maybe there are some missing driver, it works in VTI image. So there should not be a problem with OpenBlackhole image. Please Help!

VTi image like BH image uses original Vu+ git and coding.

OBH (open black hole) uses OE-A git and coding.

Therefore because 1 feature from Vti (or BH) works does not mean it will work or should work in OBH as the coding is very different

As for the drivers, they will be exactly the same on vti and obh (as long as both images are fully upto date), so it will not be anything to do with missing drivers.

Is there any possibility to request the Masters of OE-A Git to help to add this coding in? I am most willing to contribute for the time spend on writing this coding

Of course it works.
I´m distributing via RCA output the signal through my house ... using an rf modulator and i have no problems.

Hi Nunigaia, thanks for your reply. I had mistaken it for a new version, it didn’t work when I tried previously with this version. Or maybe you had mistaken what I had meant, I am using an old Tv with no Hdmi input, so the Stb is connected to my Tv through the Rca input of my Tv (Stb is Rca output).

If you are able to use the Stb’s Rca output to Tv, please tell me how you do it.

Yes, use an RCA composite cable like this:

Note: You should get no output from kodi.

Is there any special setting you had done to make it work in Rca output?

For my case, initially it is working, after doing all the settings and installation of plugins and when it was restarted, there is no longer any image in Rca output but it is working in Hdmi.

No special settings

Just HDMI output to 1080p
Just Scale / Just Scale

Sorry for being long-winded, let me clarify again. Are you saying the followings?

1. your Stb is connected to your Tv with an Rca cable connected at one end to the output of Stb and the other end to the Rca input at Tv

2. the video setting on your Stb is set to HDMI output and not YPbPr

3. resolution at 1080p

4. 4:3 is set to Just Scale

5. 16:9 is set to Just Scale

Yes ... although i don´t use on the local TV SET RCA output, i use the RCA output to distribute the signal provided ( after being modulated, by using an RF modulator ) all over my TV distribution ( house ).

I think it is the RF modulator that solve the video/audio signal. Maybe I try again following your setting but without the Rf modulator and see if it works. Thanks

Of course it will work. The modulator just convert the composite audio/video to rf signal. ( S-BAND, VHF or UHF, per example... ).

whats the benefits of this open image compared to normal blackhole, sorry if this sounds ignorant .
My experience is that the more the image has on the more complications . is there any big benefits to make me and others scrap what already wroks?
