Hi EvO, I had been using Open Blackhole v.1.0.009 ever since it could not receive any channels previously after upgraded to a latter version. It seem this version is beginning to become unstable, could I upgrade the image now?

Thanks very much

Hi, yesterday during timer recording (Stb in standby mode) it suddenly hangs at 21:33 and all the recording timers stop. The timers I have program are as follows,

Channels Days Timing

1 Weekdays 18.55-20.05

2 Weekdays 19.25-20.05

1 Weekdays 19.55-21.05

2 Weekdays 20.55-22.05

1 Weekdays 21.55-00.05

Sometime back this had happen before but I didn’t report as it happen before my bedtime and I quickly do a restart.

Please Help

15 hours ago, while watching a recorded series and 1 timer recording running, it suddenly shutdown and restarted. After it restarted, spinner spin continuously without stopping, for a minute or 2, it restarted again. Nothing works by pressing any button on remote. It continues this (restarting and spinner spinning) same actions over and over again.

This is the same fault that happens previously, I quickly flash with a backup Openblackhole image v1.0.037 but didn’t help, the fault repeated on this image too. So I flash with a Blackhole image and it’s stable again. You may tell me to continue using Blackhole image, but it lack of a very important feature of “Change in Name & Description” in timer recording’s setting, which is very important for people that are doing regular daily timer recording.

I am very sad that this same fault happens again (previously happen on 8th Sep 2017), 2 of my timer recording that is recording movie series are spoil due to the stoppage in recording.

I do not have any cam, so what has actually gone wrong? Could someone please tell me?

Hi Matrix, thanks very much for the quick reply. But I think it doesn’t have as I had tried out setting a timer recording in Bh image. Please see attached photos of timer setting from Obh & Bh, the highlighted sentence from Obh has a feature to set “yes or no” in “Change Name & description if event changes”. But the one in Bh doesn’t have this feature at all.

My last resort is to flash the Vu+ with v1.0.009 fresh image without restoring any setting and no plugin. Install only pure local channels without any Iptv channels. Then do a software upgrade to the latest.

Eighteen hours ago, I was watching recorded movie series and nothing happen. After about 2 hours later, it freezes again, during this time I had 2 timer recordings running. Something must be wrong. Please help!
