Hello,

Getting EPG data from rytec sources is slow as hell.
Downloading is fine and quick but data parsing is very slow and almost does not seem to progress at all.

I would like to download Benelux, France, Germany and Spain.

It slow even when I choose only one provider.

I am running BH 3.0.3Q on a Solo2.

I hope someone will be able to help.

Thanks.

I have no problem either with my RAM or Hard Drive space and it's still slow. The problem is even not a broadband speed. One provider takes 10 minutes to upload. It's really annoying.

CROSSEpg works this way: it's not, as you noticed, a download issue but a post-processing one. It has always been so and still is. It doesn't depend on the box as it is so with Duo2 as well with Solo4K.
When I used it under BH, I simply programmed it at night otherwise I couldn't control my box for about 40 minutes as it doesn't work in background like EPG-Import... (although is possible to do something by OpenWebIf).
If you want speed, you need OBH and EPGImport. But, if I'm not wrong, there is also a guide to use EPG-import under BH, somehow.

I scheduled a EPG download at 3am and hopefully everything worked fine.
The box has not crashed.

It seems to take time...
