no connection internet!

there is a serious general problem connecting vu models with internet.vusolo2 blackhole 3.0.5.b.elias from greece!

You can amde online update ?
No possible setup internet [ you try DHCP ] ?

Last version image is C [ made online update if you will be have internet conection ]

no online update can be done.total no internet conection.the page of the gui of network settings is tottaly blank!

You set up your internet during installation, of Black Hole.
Are you using a USB dongle or an ethernet cable, to connect to your router?
If using a dongle which model, as it could be as simple as a driver problem.

ethernet cable.i have a lot of years the solo2 with blackhole image.not a problem till now.

As you can see, we have connection.
What does that mean ?
there is a problem in the box, the local area network, or at your internet provider.
So there is no serious general problem connecting vu models with internet.

you are right.the problem is my box.maybe missing some software files about network adapter and network wizard.if anybody help i will apreciate that.without ftp or telnet programs of course.i tried alot of flashings with images.

How do you think to fix an image if you do not have a connection ftp or telnet?
Second you tried to make a new image flash but without a positive result.

What does that mean.
You did not configure the internet (WWW net) connection properly, of course, if you have a local connection.

If you do not even have a local connection
this means you have not configured well both the local and internet connection.
or the cable between the box and the router / modem is not good
or the network in the box is HW defective.

From your writing it's not clear whether the local network works.
You can test it if you go to
Menu >> Setup >> System >> Network >> Network test> green button start testing
What are you seeing there?

I'd change the cable, first of all, because it's the easiest thing to do. Then I'd download the LAST image (3.0.5) and then reflash. Then, use the wizard to let BH configure your Internet connection.
After that, tell us how's the situation. Without a reflash, everything is difficult to fix.

the most possible is hardware problem with the network card.its on the service now and test it.for furthermore i will inform you!
