Anybody on here that does VU repairs

My mate bought his vu duo new a few years ago from Turbosat in North Wales and apparently they are no longer in business. Anyway his stb is having problems. He can watch a channel, say channel 1 then if he turns over channel to channel 3 then back to channel 1 it wont open. When it finally opens its pixelating. This is happening on many channels. He has installed the latest BH image and also did a factory reset, the router has also been rebooted. We don't know what else to try. Thanks for any help

The VU+ Duo is quite old, and can't run the latest features, including Kodi, so might not be worth repairing.
Also the router has no influence on FTA, Free To Air, channels.

I wasn't talking about anything else except FTA and he doesn't run kodi on it. I was wondering if anybody had tuner issues as I cant see what else it could be

Check the pointing of your antenna, lnb, cable, and "F" connectors.

I have done all that. Even changed his lnb

I would say a faulty capacitors.

Ok, you say faulty capacitors but how do I know what what caps are faulty. Any ideas please
