It's simple: if it is not listed in the addons, it's not. Otherwise it is. And, as it's not you'll use it at your own risk.

I am pretty sure that any skins made by any othere then Matrix will ever show up in the addons, simple and greit since they would be swarmed over with support questions that they cant and should not answer.
In OBH you are pretty safe to test about any skin there is as long as they dont use custom python files.
In case someone wants to test a skin with custom made pythons just first remeber to backup
the skin.xml from folder /usr/share/enigma2 to a place on your computer.
If any skin crash or dont work use ftp and upload the backup skin.xml to the folder of your broken skin.
Now your box is coming to live again.
You might have to use telnet if there is a very bad crash.
Telnet in to your box after replace the skin.xml and type
Init 4 and press enter then type init 3 and press enter
Now you should have saved your box from the death
and can chose one of the Matrix skin in your box, and after
reboot of gui just uninstall the broken skin.
