hello
We have central satellite system. They put 3 lnb on diseq 2.
Two of them have normal config and i just need to set the diseq to access them.
But the third one(yahsat) is killing me. We have 2 reciever box. Vu+ solo with blackhole image and starmax a20.
On starmax they just change lnb type manually and set it to 10600 for yahsat.see attached file. There is no option on vu+ to set lnb type manually. What should i do?

You must use Advanced Configuration Mode in Reception Settings
Under the LOF configuration (buttons left right ) in user defined, you can configure the LOF
10600
More than that I can not help you because I do not have this kind of installation.

additional information related to LOF / L
,LOF / H, and Threshold

Universal LNB
LNB Lower LO LO is local oscilator0r) or LOF/L = 9750 Mhz
LNB Upper LO (LO is local oscilator0r) = 10600 Mhz
The threshold is the frequency at which the receiver tells the LNB to switch to high band and use Upper LO.
=======================================
Your situation is
that one LNB and maybe all use a single band LNBs

Which means that the third LNB uses LO / H = 10600 Mhz
So in the configuration you do not have two LO oscillators but only one.
So you have to test which configuration is working
i think LOF / L and LOF / H both must be at 10600
the Treshold at the highest frequency for that satellite
or put a high value so there is no effect on the LNB (no switch to Low LO band and use Upper LO )
=========================================

Other LNBs also use the single band configuration ???
and diseqc looks just for two LNBs and uses three
with fixed LO

thank you for your reply
the other two use universal lnb config. the third one use single lnb type 10600. i am at work right now. i will try your suggestion and give it a try. i will update the results.
thank you again
