Unfortunately the problem persists, this not good... Personally I am very dissapointed regarding the manner in which the code.vuplus team handles the user issued problems. I am not the only one who pointed out the problem to the code.vuplus team, and not just once. I consider that it should have been their moral duty to at least give an answer: you are wrong, the signaled bug is not real, or we cannot, or do not want or are not interested in resolving the issue, please fix tge problem yourselves if you are capable, we cashed our money on the receivers... Any reply would have been more suitable than the ignorance shown towards the users.

What you've said is very well-known, the problem is different but it seems that you haven't read everything... it is working, but not correctly; the problem is that it doesn't display the whole text, it randomly skips lines. When playing the same scenes again, you can observe that the skipped lines aren't always the same ones. The same happens to both subtitles encoded in the movie and .SRT files.

HI everyone. I'm new here, I have the same problem and I'm using BH 2.1.5 browsing videos (with .Srt file UTF-8) encoded to a cloud HDD via uPnP... What think? Any suggestions?

I cant agree anymore. you are totally right.
and this is very critical problem. all the 20 $ receivers can handle that issue. why that is so. it is really a pitty having a box with that shortcoming.

I would appreciate if anybody who have solve the problem post the solution here.
needless to say as Mr. Didi mentioned that it skips some lines and the funny thing is that srt which was converted to UTF-8 either with or without signature is not stable reacts differently in different srt files and the problem persists. some think that they have found the solution with encoding to UTF-8 but it is neither stable nor working after you fast forward the file to go further on the movie. the subtitle which is showing suddenly disappears when you fast forward the movie.
any way encoding only shows the file in the subtitle menu that's all and it is not a solution to the problem.

I hope black hole does something about that or at least let the case remain open so that somebody may find the solution and post it for other people.
