Need help adding fixed dish to motorised system

I have a Vu+ Duo2 with 2 twin tuners ( I guess its called),connected to a sat dish with 1 twin lnb. 2 cables coming inn connected to tuner A and B. Tuner A set as positioner USALS, and tuner B as second cable of motorised LNB tuner A.
I got hold of a used fixed dish that I want to add to my setup. This has 4 single lnbs ( I don't need all 4 to work). I want to be able to use the motor, and at the same time, always have certain channels available from the fixed dish. This because I have a second Duo2 in another room connected via the fallback tuner setup.
Do I need to pull a third cable into my house to my Duo2 to connect to tuner C? What's the easiest way in doing this? I would like to avoid pulling a third cable into my house.
Need some help here please.

You could use Diseqc switches, to connect two, or more, LNB's, to an existing cable, running in your house, but then you'd need to use the advanced tuner option, to set up both the motor, and second LNB, into the same tuner.

Not really, just takes a little time, and effort, but you can still use Usals, when setting up your motorized system, it just means adding each satellite individually, on one LNB, then adding the Diseqc 1.1 on the second connection.

I think

1.Buy Diseqc switch for 4 LNBs for FIXED dish with 4 LNBs
Config one tuner
Configuration mode >> simple
Mode DiSEqC A/B/ C/D
for 4 different satellites

2.Config second tuner for a motor and one LNB (best to buy single LNB and best to use single LNB with positioner)
Configuration mode simple
Mode Positioner with informations for Longitude/Latitude

======================================================================================
if you want to use both LNBs with motor you have to have third cable or Diseqc switch for two LNBs (However with Diseqc switch , I do not see any gain here
if you do not have a third cabal and use a third tuner)
and you have to use advanced Configuration Mode
The problem is also the positioning of two lnb with motors

Thank you Matrix10.
Point no. 1 sounds good to me, thanks for info
Point no. 2 -I have 1 twin LNB on the dish connected to my Duo -running 2 cables to my Duo 2 tuner A and B. Tuner A set as USALS positioner and B is set as second cable of motorised LNB tuner A. Do I have to change these settings if I configure tuner C or D as diseqc (point no. 1)?

Each separate tuner has to be set up, so you just go into the menu, Setup, Tuner setup and set Tuner C to the correct settings, if only using 1 of the LNB's set it to single, and you don't then require a Diseqc switch.
Either way you will have to run at least 1 more cable, into your house.
A lot of people now fit piping, round the house, to allow you to run more cables, coax, cat 5, cat 6, etc.. for future expansion. You can then run these cables through the pipe, without too much problem.

If you have two cables ,if I do not make mistakes
(I have a DUO 4k at the moment
I think the distribution of physical and virtual tuners is the same on DUO2)

This means that you have to use one cable for FIXED dish
and one for motorized dish only one LNB .
Also ,one twin tuner for fixed and one twin tuner for motorized.
if I do not make mistakes ,the basic configuration is how I wrote it.

For tuners that are not connected to the cable
you can use loopthrough function in configuration mode
Example Tuner A motorized dish cable Tuner B loopthrough tuner A
Tuner I Fixed dish cable Tuner J loopthrough tuner I
In this way, you have more virtual tuners for use.

Which tuner you use for which dish depends on what you want to achieve.
There is probably a difference in practical use
I did not test because I only have a motorized dish.

Of course, if you want to use more cables, other combinations are possible.

OK, I think I understand. Only 1 cable only from the twin LNB motorised, right? What if I buy a 6 to 1 diseqc, then I can take cable 2 from my twin LNB and join this with the4 LNBs from the fixed dish. This should work, right? I'm no expert at these things, so I therefore I ask. :)
What is the advantage of having more virtual tuners by the way?

The advantage of virtual tuners is that if one tuner is in use
others can be used for recording, streaming, etc.
(it seems to me to be wrong and old duo 2 does not have virtual tuners but Duo 4K)
I think,You can add fixed LNB from the motorized to diseqc
but you can use LNB only if antenna is focused
in the direction of the satellite used by the fixed LNB.

But then you have it again
advanced configuration

Simple configuration is only for 4 lnb/diseqc

OK, so that means using only the 1 cable from the twin LNB -and not use the other is the easiest to acomplish?
I read that the Duo can record up to 16 channels at the same time, so I would assume it has the ability to use virtual tuners........

By the way, I have another question regarding the setup I've had for a while. I have a twin LNB with 2 cables coming inn connected to tuner A and B. Tuner A set as positioner USALS, and tuner B as second cable of motorised LNB tuner A. Is this the best setup for tuner B, or should it be set to loop through, or something else to get the most out of it. I'm thinking about recording and streaming option.

I think

Physical tuner 1 motor/LNB (configuration simple positioner) , Physical tuner2 set to loop through tuner 1
Physical Tuner 3 Fixed LNB (configuration simple single LNB?? or second cable of motorised LNB) , Physical tuner 4 set to loop through tuner 3

In this way, you have two tuners connected to each LNB.
