How did you try to flash? By a USB stick? And what did you do exactly to use the backup and flash.
But, above all, do you know it's possible to flash directly from the Backup plugin, without using any USB stick?

thanks for the reply.
yes i tried to flash by a USB stick. i keep the full backup in the HDD and transfer it to my laptop then to USB.
i did not know that's possible to do it directly from the plugin. it makes a difference and it can work?
thanks

Of course it works! You don't need the USB flash stick if the backup is accessible by the image! This is not the FullBackup of BH. You can do everything comfortably from your sofa. ;)

And, by the way, how did you prepare the USB stick for the backup? Because, if the USB stick is compatible, it should have worked the same. Di you put the zip file or did you extract the vuplus folder from the zip file ;) ?

Maybe the image got corrupted during transfer from hdd to laptop. You can make a new backup and try again and restore the backup through the image software.

Anyway, now the USB stick is not indispensable any longer. It is needed only if you can't access the media where the backup are stored. That's why, if I were you, I would not use the HDD but and and external device, like a NAS or a USB disk or stick.
Because if the image does not start, you won't be able to access your disk even by FTP.
In my case, I use a NAS and it's independent from the VU+, of course.

i do not use a HDD because it is only vuplus zero. i do not understand what you mean by NAS.
thank you your replies
