Cannot retrieve rytec sources

Trying to update rytec providers, but i have the error "cannot retrieve rytec sources", and it do not update the providers.
Any solution to fix this?

I have on primary dns 8.8.8.8. Will change to 8.8.4.4
Strange this because i changed blackhole yesterday to version 3.0.8
Before this it was working perfect the crossepg with dns 8.8.8.8

You can (and should) set both DNS, the primary and secondary one. It's only a try,of course. I don't want google to be in my devices but rytecs work the same.

Try also the most serious OpenDNSs.

Tried the google dns primary and secondary - same problem
Gonna try the opendns

also with opendns not working. Strange, because last version of blackhole was working and only with primary dns 8.8.8.8

Hi again,
Still having "cannot retrieve rytec sources", with crossepg 0.8.6 (last version) and bH last version.
This is making me crazy

Should be fixed on the next build, probably available tomorrow as "Online Update".

In any case, i attached here the modifyed file needed to bring it back.

HowTo:

1) Unpack the attached file to a folder on your PC.

2) By ftp, send the file "crossepg_rytec_update.pyo" to:

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/CrossEPG

3) Restart Enigma2 or by telnet:

killall -9 enigma2

Under EPG enter CROSSEPG and "Update Rytec Providers". You should get 83 providers updated.

I thought that might be the case. I am using Vix on an old style VU+ UNO.
I appreciate that this was intended for Blackhole images but going round the sites yours is the only one that is even mentioning the problem.

It shoudd work with Vix too.
Are you sure you followed the instructions ?
The new file have to overwrite the same file in the folder.
Do it again and be sure that the file is changed.

Sorry I still get cannot retrieve rytec sources. I have tried overwriting and deleting the original file. My EPG was updating until last week but it might be different to the one in the Blackhole image - see attached

You are using AUTOINC version, different from --> enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-crossepg - 0.8.6+gitr487+2bb1a9d-r1 - systemplugins-crossepg
