I purchased one of these MTSIF ... it is strange that the existing information only indicates that it is a DVB-T2 tuner and not DVB-C / T / T2 ... the manufacturer (Vu +) on its product page does not go beyond T2, the product packaging itself, the information that exists in stores ...

Dual means in itself "double standard", DVB-T/T2 and DVB-C, always.
Twin means "two independent tuners" by one physical device.

Maybe it has that (dual) meaning ... maybe. What does the T2 indication do there? Why did you choose this one and not C?

The logic is like this in the USB Tuner Turbo, where it indicates what it supports ... or not?

What's the problem ?
You can use the MTSIF tuner as a T / T2 or as a cable tuner.

There is no problem ... who can have it will be the manufacturer who, by not explicitly indicating that this device meets both standards, may not sell it as I would expect ... I knew it by chance and then I bought it.

If I remember correctly
The first time MTSIF Tuner came out he was just working on T / T2
VU+ made later new drivers for cable TV.

I also had the idea that it only worked in T / T2 ... and as I say, the indication that exists everywhere is this (ab-com just to give an example among all) ... all stores put it on sale as if it were only for T / T2 ...

It is clear that the information about this upgrade to the tuner was not disclosed in the store chain ...

I'll pass the information to a store here in the country ...

What for? Is not only the tuner that must be able to perform MS: it's the receiver. Zero 4K is MS, Solo4K isn't.

You are :offtopic:here ;)

The thread is about MTISF tuner and not about S2-X tuners that supports MultiStream.
