It depends on what "image" are you using, that's the most important info to provide us.
But every images, more or less, have a tuner section where, if you have only one satellite set (other aspect you did not tell anything about: how many satellite have you set at the moment?) you have it in
Simple mode
19,2E

You just have to change it to 28,2E

If you have more than one, change only that one.

To tell exactly which image you are using... we should know what image are you using! :) Because each one as a different info menu.
Thing is, you really should explore ALL of your system, in order to get as more acquainted to it as possible.
Somewhere you'll surely find an Info menu.
But, for now, it's not so important.
So, it's not clear if now you found how change the satellite: if not, you need to press OK on the tuner you want to change, and then, change the option by right/left.
Every options work like that.

No the specific problem trying to get Astra 28degs. Is still there .when I scroll down to satellite which shows hotbird pressing the left and right arrows just changes from hotbird to Astra 19deg and then back to hotbird then back to Astra 19!!over and over again pressing ok button doesn’t do anything so I am still looking for Astra28degs there are references to Blackhole on the box and enigma?

Are you going into Menu, Setup, and look for Tuners & scanning, or Tuners, or Tuner Setup.
Once you get to Tuner Setup you should have both Tuners listed, Tuner A, Simple, Single, Hotbird 13E, and Tuner B, Simple, Single, Astra 1 19.2E KU band.

Select Tuner B, scroll down to Satellite, and press the right arrow key to select a satellite, it should get you to Astra 2, 28.2E. Save this then try scanning in channels.

If you can't locate Astra 2, 28.2E, your satellites.xml file might have been modified, by the previous owner, to only have the two satellites he wanted, 13E and 19.2E.

Are you sure that your dish is pointing at Astra 2, 28.2E?
If your dish is a new sky dish it might have a Sky Q LNB, which isn't compatible, with the Solo 2.
You might want to try manually scanning in a few channels:
Code:

Hi my dish is aligned correctly as I receive Freesat here in Spain at the moment I am using a splitter so it could be that causing a problem I will try connecting directly to the dish.I notice on Satfinder the little box has a Red Cross should this be green tick if so how do I change it. and could this be the problem I have connected both Lnb connectors what are the settings in need to complete the setup? I have spent many hours on the box and your Forum and it’s gradually “sinking “in but know dour I will have further questions thank you for putting up with me ,I was greatly encouraged when one of you colleagues was rebuking someone ,saying his own father is 86 years old and he has “got his head round it”Thank again

Which menu are you in, when you see the red cross?
Are you in the signal finder menu?
Providing the transponder, and satellite, information, are correct, you should have a green display, the red cross doesn't sound good.
Any chance of posting pictures, of the menu screens?
You can connect to your receiver, from your PC, providing you have it connected to your router. All you need is to find your receivers IP address, in the network menu, and type this into a PC web browser, like firefox, google, or even explorer, and you should then get OpenWebif, which allows you to control your receiver, from your PC, and grab screen shots, of your receiver. I use the PrtScn button, on my PC keyboard, and then paste the image into a paint program.

If you use a splitter, I fear you are trying to use two box at the same time and they surely may interfere one to each other! A splitter cannot multiply what is SINGLE: you've got a single LNB and if you switch on both boxes at the same time you risk to use the same "signal" (let's keep it simple, because it's more complex than that).
Try ONLY your VU+ and disconnect (or switch off completely, not just stand-by) the other one.

TO grab an Image, as Mick said, once you read from your Network your box's IP (for instance, imagine yours is
192.168.100.123)
you can immediately type in a browser
192.168.100.123/grab

You'll see what you have in your VU+. Just save it right-clicking the image grabbed as you do for any picture in an Internet website.
If you learn this, you'll help everyone here in... helping you.
