VU UNO locked on Starting..

Good evening,
I would need your support to try to solve the problem in subject, with the premise that the decoder is original and that I used only images for Vu Uno (sorry for the length of the post and for my poor english).

Background:
The decoder could not update the settings anymore. With all the programs tested, at the time of sending, the old settings were deleted but it was impossible to write the new ones. I'll say that the system was configured with Openblackhole in flash and some images in multiboot but the result was the same on every image. After checking the pendrive, there were problems with corrupted filesystem, so I decided to renew everything, updating what could be updated.

Operations performed:
I installed in flash the last Openblackhole, configuring the minimum necessary, so I set the openmultiboot as I did other times. I transferred the last openatv image and launched the installation. After many minutes, before the process ended, I pressed the OK button on the remote control and shortly after that the decoder restarted, leading me to the screen where I could choose the image to launch. Once I had chosen the one I had just installed, after some time a black screen appeared and nothing happened again. I tried to restart using the rear switch and since then the display is still on Starting and the red led is on.

Attempts:
Doing some research I recovered a usb-serial nullmodem cable and, through Putty, I tried to understand what was happening. At the first connection, the schematic of Putty stopped at a sort of prompt (cfe>). So I tried to use vutil (old version only for nfi, since the newer one always gives me the usual error 21) to transfer the original images I found on the official site, the only ones in nfi format that I recovered. The process always ends positively (according to the program) but the reboot always stops with a panic kernel and a reboot after 3 minutes.
The errors are of the type:
v7
Code:
Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(8,1)
v6
Code:
Kernel panic - not syncing: No init found. Try passing init= option to kernel

Attached are the logs that I was able to obtain.
Now I can use serial access but FTP and SSH are off.
Do you have any suggestions on other attempts that I can experiment?
Do you think the situation is recoverable?
In the meantime, thanks to those who have had the patience to read so far.

I didn't quite understand
Can you reinstall the image in flash?
Namely, if the kernel is corrupt then you cannot run the image.

I can reinstall the image in flash only through the serial interface (and vuutil) but it stuck on boot, as the logs state

Find a good USB stick (If you used a USB stick and it doesn't work now, try some others)
and make a flash using the standard USB method.
Be sure to format the USB stick on the windows machine before each attempt.

Try with the original VU + image.

Thank you very much for your suggestion. I did as per your instructions (formatting in FAT) and all is almost ok.
Now I have to find the way to install images in multiboot 'cause all my tentatives failed.
I really appreciate your support.
