Total Newbie Q: Uno SE won't change channels

Your mistake was to set also tuner B, I believe.

Scenario 1
If you have only one cable getting into the box, you must set only the tuner A because its the DiSEqC command that chooses the satellites.
Tuner B will be left disabled.

Scenario 2
If, instead, you have two cables, you don't have to use DiSEqC commands, and you must set each tuner as simple configuration, one satellite only, and choose in each one the right satellite.

I much doubt you are in the 2nd scenario: the 1st is 99% you case.

Find? As in what happens when I do a scan?

Service scan gives on 23.5E Astra 3B = 100% completed, 656 channels found. So that's progress! Yay!

I don't see anything being scanned on 19.2E

The latest OpenBh is 5.1:
Code:

Why have you posted all the screen menus? Are these what you've tried, then done a blind scan?

I posted all the screen menus, because that's what AlexWilMac asked me to do as far as I understood.

Anyways, the situation now is that I have managed to find the 23.5E channels that I wanted, and i'm only missing a few 19.1E ones.

Thanks again for the help

Send DiSEqC > No

I don't know which one is the other receiver you refer to, nor do I know how you want to connect two receivers to this monoblock... You can't call, just one. Therefore it begins by making sure that VU arrives a cable from the monobloc without any other parallel connection.

After guarantee is the monoblock 100%? Or the tuning of the antenna?

p.rodrigues: The other receiver is a SAB Titan 3 HD which is connected to a different TV

The monoblock was working fine with 2 receivers previously, so I'm not sure what the problem is there. Right now the SAB is receiving both 19.2E and 23.5E just fine so the problem isn't with the dish or the monoblock I think

If the Sab works well, there is no problem with monoblock or antenna, it is confirmed.

Then turn off the Sab and in your place gets the Uno and make the settings. Porta A can be 19E and or 23.5E, is to test in both ways.

Anyway the monoblock cannot serve both simultaneously, I think.

The monoblock can serve both boxes at the same time. We regularly watch different channels on the 2 TV's at the same time, coming off the same satellite, so there's no problem there.

I hooked up an old SAB box in the place of the VU+ and both 19.2E and 23.5E were detected straight away, no problem.

On the VU+ I still have only the 23.5E channels, and nothing coming off 19.2E.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

Thanks agian in advance.

Hi P.rodrigues,

I appreciate you replying to me, but I"m not sure what I'm supposed to do with the file you uploaded. It seems to be a list of channels on Astra 19E, but since i'm not receiving that sat I don't understand why this would help.

But you affirm that you have this satellite ... this 19.2E.

I am no longer understanding... You have the satellite or not 19.2E? If yes send this list to the box to see how it behaves.

I managed to fix things by poking around in the tuner setup menu's.

Thanks for all the help
This is not how a user should use a forum: after having not given the infos we had requested you many, many times, you just come out of the blue telling you solved.
This way you just wasted our time.
