i think he used "return the love" plugin and box registered successfully( as you can see in post 16). so the box is original.

Exactly, you were faster. Aside of that, he was able to load original image from vuplus.com. I am pretty sure the box is original.

Very old image, the newest are on code.vuplus.com

If it was a clone, he wouldn't be able to use the original image, even if it was 1 year old. Return the love also proved it's original. No reason to scary people here that their boxes are clones...

Clones are an issue but if the OP is sure he has an original then he needs to be clear in what he has done.

Exactly, you answered it yourself. Clones require special image, original from www.vuplus.com does not work.

Your problem is strange!
However U should concentrate on the USB and the BH image (hopefully U dLoad a new one, and make sure its the correct one for your STB)!
And do other boot-loader up grade...it takes few second,,,( very vast), then follow the thread about How-to-install-a new image!
