Added Samsung HD103SI, now very slow booting.

I'd been using an external USB drive, changed over to internal HD103SI.

Initialised with both BH and original images.

In both cases, booting from cold or full restart now takes over 7 minutes. Most of the time spent on "Booting" stage bootlogo. "Loading Enigma2" is the same as before.

Anybody have this problem, or have a solution?

What image You have in flash ?

BH 1.6

Reformatted with Vu CC, seemed to be OK, but now the mount is missing from etc/fstab.

When I open fstab, this line is there:

#/dev/sda1 /media/hdd auto defaults 0 0.

I realise this is commented out. Should the mount be set here?
Because I notice there is an "autofs" folder, which has my USB pen drive (dev/sdb1) listed, and no mention of this in fstab.

What do you have in device manager?

I found the problem, it was to do with a network mount which was listed in the fstab file, but should have been commented out.

So nothing to do with the Samsung drive, or formatting etc.

Moral of the story: Don't jump to conclusions, and only change one thing at a time:oops:
