Well I've had the Duo2 for a while and I'm just wondering whats new around the Corner. Is it possible that a New Model of the Vu Duo2 will be out soon (Acca say the Duo3 or another name) or by the end of the year or early next year with new features better that what the duo2 has given us already. What do you think guys, Is there going to be a better Sat box than the duo2 for us in the near future.

the new solo 4k is out, but really hard to justify price of this, it includes arm processor which may offer offer more stability for iptv and kodi, which is terrible at momment on vu+duo. i paid 333 euros for my duo2, but hard to justify spending 500 one these boxes, they are hardly a premium spec,

I love my Duo2 ... I've had several sat boxes over last 20 years including the Chaparral Analogue monsters and the Vu+ range is really easy to use and adapt ...
That said I too have wondered where Vu+ will go with a new Generation of receivers ... obvioulsy the Solo 4K is the first step but if like me you have several dishes and inputs a 4K version with multiple tuner slots like a new Ultimo or Duo would be my answer and wish ... :)

I have nothing against it, because I have DUO2
and I know the quality of this excellent receiver.

But we have now entered a new world, and of course it's a start.

Why use ten antennas and tuners if all can with one or two.
Besides strength and speed can be measured ,Solo 4K is an advantage,
with all other opportunities for development.

I've a motorised dish with twin feeds ... a fixed dish at 28.2°E again with two feeds and a USB tuner for my terrestrial aerial input ... all four internal and one external tuner all being well used ... another tuner for a third fixed dish still to be connected ... :)

yep after doing a bit of research your right matrix 10, as seems arm is outperfming some intel chips out their to my surprise, still think an extra 200 euros is really steep for this. have you got one of these, i would not mind shelling out money, if xmbc, iptv and some other apps were more stable on blackhole and actually worked.

I can not give any warranty for software development in the future.
But the fact is that this is a good hardware and provides new opportunities.
The question is whether you need it or not ,do you want to go with this development and the risks or not.
Currently box provides what gives.
Is that enough for you or not.
There's still a lot of work for the future.
But I personally have the pleasure but now with these box.
Excellent new toy.
