Backup of Settings Before Upgrade to 2.06

When I upgraded from 2.04 to 2.05 I backed up my settings and it worked perfectly in accordance with posted instructions.

When I went from 2.04 to 2.05 I followed the same instructions and it didn't work and I lost all my motor settings.

For reasons unknown to me USALS doesn't seem to work here and not just for me but for sat installer as well so it is a big loss as I need guy with pro meter to re-programme box.

I have just backed up via menu > backup > personal backup and also via menu > software management > backup Hopefully both to internal HDD

However, before I commit myself - are there any software folders / files I can copy and then FTP back to the new setup if I leave the motor in position?

Thanks Mito for the prompt reply - I'll give it a whirl a bit later. . .

If I wanted a "belt and braces" approach owing to self doubt of myself NOT you are there any files I could copy to the PC via FTP?

The files you need are stored in /etc/enigma2
