My feeling is that Wifi problems are not due just to a different DHCP or DNS management, as I read somewhere else in this forum (that's anyway not justifiable because it cannot be that a device needs a specific DNS server in order to work properly or that it is not possible to address by a fixed IP within the LAN, but it must work fine simply by the router's and provider's DNS) but there is a driver problem in managing the Wifi as it was not able to use all the signal's power from the wifi VU+ adapter. I say this because I'm going back and forth from 2.1.4 to 3.0.1 and I have also issues in detecting the signal of my router while using 3.0.1 where there is no problem as soon as I switch to 2.1.4. I had to install two powerlines to solve every problems using LAN card instead of wifi.
But maybe I'm wrong and all these problems depend just on DNS and DHCP configurations.
