This latest version of the Black Hole series has been entirely rewritten and improved in the code for maximum stability and performance.

Please note that of all images Black Hole now has the best epg system:

- Integrated OpenEpg

- Rytec dedicated epg.dat

- New system epg.dat outside.

This last feature gives the possibility to various forums or communities to create their favorite EPG data files and load them into a web space.

Community members can then download it from our servers.

This feature provides other benefits such as:

Increase download speed of EPG

Download EPG from any channel

Schedule the download of EPG decoder even during standby

Users can customize the providers using Add / Remove function

Main functions of the buttons on the remote

OK button = Skin with simple information

OK button x 2 = Extra Info Skin

Blue button = Black Hole Blue Panel

Blue button and then Red button = Black Hole Epg Panel

Blue button and then Yellow button = System Monitor Panel

Blue button long press = Extensions

Yellow button = Audio menu

Green button = Black Hole Green Panel

Thanks for a new image.

Here is a list of bugs that I have found.

1. Going from DHCP to manual IP config and it looses its DNS. You need to enter it your self. Not a big deal, but works fin on 2.x

2. Transcoding plug is installed, but you do not get the extra white TV icon behind the blue one in web gui. So I can not select the transcoded streaming of a channel, only the blue that gives raw data.. This is a show stopper for me, so going back to 2.x
Or is there something I do wrong?

So the only Update releases last night is the same version (3.0.1C)?
Aksing because in the "Information" menu, there still is said 3.0.1 and not 3.0.1C
Just wanted to make sure

It is the same, and that is correct, the information menu only shows the numbers of the image the letter at the end, is not displayed as it's meaning less really.

If you have no more updates available online, then you are on the latest image ;)

is it possible to restore personal backup from an older version (2.x.x) to the new version 3.0.1?

The open multi-boot does not work, it always restarts with the image installed in flash, with this update and work?

In which file are name server (Wireless conf) exists? because when i put 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 , the wifi works fine but if i restart my box; it will be back to 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 and wifi stop working

i already followed those steps; the problem isn't there.
Where i serup my wlan, the internet works perfectly. but if i restart my box it go offline.
when i checked, i found that the only thing not saved was DNS Name servers. because, somehow, without them my internet doesn't work on the box
i have to manually change them from 0.0.0.0 to 8.8.8.8 each time i restart my box
so i asked for the file where those informations are stored

Not exactly

Install the latest image
and check DNS
as I have already explained

And it has to work.

It is not possible that for hundreds of other works and for you not.
Of course, provided that your network configuratio and router/modem do not cause problems.

I still think that you have make configuration in the wrong panel.

USE Menu>>Setup>>System>>Wireless LAN Setup

I have OBH 0.1 in flash and several other images in multiboot . I want to make sure if I can install the latest BH 3.0.1C in multiboot?
