I found the problem, I removed Plugin EPGSearch from plugin menu -> manage extensions. Is it a way of getting EPGSearch to work properly with BH. It worked fine in earlier versions like 1.33. It´s a very useful plugin.

Why do you say epg search doesn't work properly?
If you press up arrow, then press epg search botton, it should work fine.

I´m talking about the plugin EPGSearch in "manage extensions"... And please read the whole thread, it´s not that the plugin don´t work. It affect button 3 in channel selection. The same problem also shows up when using EPGRefresh plugin.

As far as I know it is not possible

We use our programming for the EPG and not the plugins
and as such we do not support issues that may arise from using them.
You can use image Epg search in Channel Selection >>Button 1

Hello. CIFS share mounted by Black Whole Mount Wizard does not correctly show Russian file names (so i cannot play network shared files in Media Player):

OK. I just added "iocharset=utf8" option to fstab row corresponding to CIFS share. It did the trick for Media Player (not for "ls" of course). Probably, makes sense to assign "iocharset=utf8" as a default option for linux kernel.

Using now Cross EPG, and this works way better the other EPG option .
Just one question about it .
- Cross EPG stores files on /media/hdd (thats ok), when i check in map CrossEPG, there are about 20 files, named, crossepg.tmp.ZsohM4 , size is 0 kb, do they get deleted automaticly after a few days or so ..?

What is the problem?
I advice you to set a pasword for the user root: so enter with telnet (the first time) without password and then set it with:
>passwd
I don't remember well but maybe a password is mandatory for ftp protocol.
