What's new?​

1) New driver: 20121220
- Support tuner A Loop through to B
(Configuration = Tuner A : loop through to B, Tuner B : Normal Setup )
- Support remote control system code change.
2) Nimmanager.py : for internally connect tuner A to B
3) TransCodingSetup : fix locale charset.

Black Hole can not support images not installed in the flash.​

This latest version of the Black Hole series has been entirely rewritten and improved in the code for maximum stability and performance.​

Please note that of all images Black Hole now has the best epg system:​

- Integrated OpenEpg​

- Rytec dedicated epg.dat​

- New system epg.dat outside.​

This last feature gives the possibility to various forums or communities to create their favorite EPG data files and load them into a web space.​

Community members can then download it from our servers.​

This will be my first Vu+ Receiver and also the first with a dual tuner.
So I'm at a complete loss of how to setup this type of Configuration as shown in the specs of the Image:-
Configuration = Tuner A : loop through to B, Tuner B : Normal Setup
My setup, at the moment, is one motorised single dish with one single lnb.
Can I setup the dual tuner facility so as to enable me to watch any channel on one sat whilst
recording another channel on the same sat but on a different transponder?
If yes, can someone explain how to do it please? Thks.
On other aspects I've been reading some Threads and I guess that I can cope. Thks.

If you wont to watch one record another channels from different tranponder you need to run second cabble from your dish your lnb configuration is tuner A edvance(cable comes from motorised system) tuner B is second cable (cable coms from lnb)from dish

hi guys, can anyone help me with installing the new image? I've downloaded the files on a fat32 formatted usb stick, when I plug it in the box and power it up I get the following message: update! press power button. However after pressing the power button nothing happens, the box boots after a couple of seconds with the regular image, what am I doing wrong?

Power button is the only button on the box itself. Left hand side.

i think you are pressing power button from remote press the power button on the box

I tried that too. the USB flashes, I get the msg update! press power button but after that the box just boots up normally with the vu+ logo. then I get the msg: No mountable devices found! Do you want to open devicemanager and do initialize or format this device.

I guess the usb stick isn't working the way it should be? should I try formatting it with the box instead of formatting on pc?

Switch box off on the back for 15 seconds and then turn it on again.

no you need twin lnb and two separate cabbles from same dish

i have BH image 1.7.8 on my ultimo with 500 GB hdd, now i formatted the hdd, and it worked, after a few days, i need to formatt again, cuz it says NO hdd or you need to formatt it, never had that problem with open PLI, someone else that problem ??
PS maybe its already discussed somewere, but couldnt find it.
