Black Hole Vu+ Solo2 Flashing issues

sorry
need some help
but how to install it?
i've written it to flash drive
connected to vu+
and when i turn it on it doesn't begin installing from flash drive
what am i doing wrong?

Why you use old image ?

The procedure is always the same.

Be sure you have

1.Formatted stick Fat32
2. You have unzip the ZIP image file
3. you have copy all the folders and files in folders on a USB stick
4. That only USB stick is connected to the box.

If it fails to flash try with other USB sticks.

and it doesn't work for me

You do not seem to be a beginner.
Maybe this one you have does not work for some reason

Don´t forget to remove all your usb devices attached to your SoloSe, before puting the usb stick that contains the new firmware for flashing it. ( This includes tuners, Usb HDD, etc ... i.e. all usb devices ).

Ok, sorry my mistake, but you have posted too, in SoloSe section, and that is the case because i´ve referred SoloSe and not Solo2.

NOTE: I´ve moved this thread regarding Solo2, because was posted in SoloSe section.

Repeat this steps:

How to USB flash upgrade VU+ Solo2

1) Prepare a USB stick, format FAT32. I'd recommend using this HP Format tool.
2) Download the image you would like to use, extract the vuplus folder.
3) Copy the vuplus folder to root of your USB stick.
4) Connect to VU+ Solo2.
5) Power on, when prompted on front display to press power button, touch the BLUE cirlces to the left of the front panel. This is the touch sensitive power button.
6) Wait for the flashing process to complete and automatically reboot. DO NOT POWER OFF DURING THE FLASHING PROCESS!

Once you copy the vuplus folder to USB stick as in step 3, you should see the vuplus folder when accessing the root of the USB stick. Folder structure should be vuplus > solo2 > flash files.

I'd also recommend installing Teracopy, although not essential, to your PC to copy files from PC to USB stick, less chance of corrupting flash files.
