blindscan plugin not working

Hi to all the experts,

I am a newbie regarding the VU+ DUO receiver, but have owned a VU+ UNO and many other receivers in the past. The DUO receiver is working perfectly regarding the motorised positioner operation, channel listings and recordings onto a 1TB Western Digital internal hard drive. I have downloaded channels via the VU+ menus as normal.

However, when I try to do a blindscan on any satellite it just runs through the normal bandwidth and Polarisation check scans and then a message says "No found transponders please check satellite connection, or scan other search condition".

The two tuners are matched and set up ok and the scan type on the blinscan menu is a match for the blindscan pluggin i.e (DVB-S2), Tuner A is configured to positioner and Tuner B is configured to second cable of motorised LNB Tuner A, ( A good quality Dual LNB is being used). Both Tuners are working and receiving fine.

I am using the Black Hole 1.6.6 image which is also is working fine.

I have deleted and reinstalled the blinscan plugin, but to no avail.

Do I need to configure elsewhere within the receiver?

Can anyone help me?

Vu+Duo/Solo tuners doesen't support blindscan.

Thank you angelofsky 1980 for your prompt info and expertise.

I thought that going to 2 tuners on the DUO was going to be a sort of update, in some ways it is. Losing the blinscan plugin limits the DUO receiver somewhat.

Is there any way that I can update transponders on the DUO? or, do I have to rely on the available downloaded channel listings to update?

To update TPs on Vu+ boxes you can use the TS SatEdit plugin avaiable on Addon Server (green -> yellow) or make a search on the Web for Satellites.xml updates.
