Box Hacked

In my Vu + duo4K with BlachHole 3.0.8.A, Build 2019-02-15 Master, DVBDrivers 20190212.r0, Kernel version 4.1.45 I have a very strange problem.

Randomly, the recording message is turned on, without recording anything, and it is not possible to switch it off, unless it completely reboots the device, it does not work if I only turn it off with the remote control, I must turn it off by the rear switch since it does not work either of any of the remote control

I imagine that it must be some small bug of the last update of last week.

I would appreciate any comments, never until this last version had this problem occurred

Greetings and thanks

Thanks, but there's nothing

Nothing appears on the recording menu, and even if I look at the history, either
Likewise, the recordings of the hard disk do not show anything

Also, when I turn off the receiver by the remote control, the recording LED is lit

And also when I look at another channel, it appears blinking

It's very weird, if I remember correctly, I think it was on Wednesday or Thursday when an update came out and since then this problem appears randomly.

Thanks, Javier

The LED for recording red color blinking not only if recording but also if you stream from your box.
Which means that someone is watching a stream from your box.
Of course everything provided ,that the image is not corrupt.
Which means you have to use password for your box.
If this does not help then you have to try it all over again.
That is, reinstall the image.

Thank you very much for your help Matrix 10

It is difficult to transmit something since I am in an isolated house
but nevertheless I will look at the moment that occurs again to disconnect the network

And of course, I'll put the password on the vu+

And as the last solution I will reinstall the image

Thank you very much for your quick response

Greetings and good evening

Hello Matrix10

You were absolutely right, tonight I left the Vu + recording a program.

This morning I do not know why it was all unconfigured, and luckily I had made some backup copies.

I've done everything you told me, I hope it works well now, what amazes me is how they manage to get into a device so easily, although I have my suspicions about why it has been.

Best regards

Javier
