Cablescan blackhole

Hi,

I have since yesterday a Vu+ duo 2.
I tried different images, OpenPli, VTi+, BlackHole.
At the Blackhole image is kodi working properly, but at this image there is no plugin cablescan.
So this is useless for me (Ziggo, Holland). I tried to scan manual but I don't find all the channels what I find with the cablescan addon (344 channels)
With the cablescan addon they are also in the right order sorted.

Is there an option to fix this? For now I did put openpli image back.
I tried yesterday till deep in the night but I don't get it working properly.
But at he OpenPLI, VTi+ image kodi is not working well.

Kind regards

Check your cables.xml file, to see if you have the correct entries, for your location.

I have found a cable.xml file for my redio, I copied it and then I used an automatic search complete. It finds then 220 channels (instead of 344), and they are not in the right order.

The cables.xml file should be in your image, use your FTP program, like Filezilla, to access your receiver, in blackhole you can find the cable.xml file in tuxbox.
You need to check it, to see if it contains your regions details, if not either amend it, or replace it with one that does.

Yes I have done that, followed by an automatic scan

For cable scan Pli way you can also use Open Black Hole image.

If I remember correctly you have to install additional cablescan plugin from system plugins.

Of course if you have a good cable.xml for your region then surely you can find all channels in your region,
then use a manual scan.
Select your cable tuner .

I have cable.xml from Open Black Hole image

There you have all regions in NL
so try scan.
Choose a provider that you use.
In Open BH image Cable you have standard in Tuner setup NL providers cable
and Cablescan plugin installed.

How do I use this XML file, do I need to delete something.
The only settings for Ziggo I need is Freq : 474000 Network ID: 05555 Symbolrate: 6875 QAM 64

In the cable tuner configuration put yor network ID 05555
Select Provider to scan >> Ziggo region
SAVE

===============
Then you go to the Manual Scan
Choose your cable tuner
Set scan to Complet
SCAN
=======================
If you like to scan only one transponder
you have to choose Type of scan User defined transponder
and config all params.
======================================

I have compare cable.xml in BH and OBH image
is the same for NL.

The difference can only be channels arrangement in the list after scanning.

Okay thanks, So for me is it better to use this image instead of the latest BH 3.0.3 image?
Or is this 0.6 just an old version? Or what are the big differences?

Thank you for your help

You can update all images online Black Hole and Open Black Hole after installation.

Thanks I will try this tonight.
What is the difference in general with these two images?

I can not put a network ID in the tuner configuration.
I have select the Ziggo region and done a manual complete scan.
But it doesn't find all the channels. And they are unsorted.

Yes in this image cable scan is working correctly, I also can put a network ID at my tuner config.
This was not possible at the BH image. Now I find every channel and it is sorted correctly in the favorites under the folder Ziggo.
Strange why this is not working in the BH image.
