Can anyone help

recently reflashed my vu solo 2 to black hole 2.0.8 now I seem to have the issue of being able to run any apps from the box. icefilms provides error when selecting catagories like wise with ratz picon updater and now unable to view any black hole apps as returns a connection error. internet connection wizard runs fine and box active for satellite, is there some setting ive missed or is it a case of simply reflashing ? any help appreciated

2.0.8 is too old. Flash to 2.1.1

this is impossible I haven't got a usb in the back have put 2.1.1 on the usb and it just boots straight through without picking up the firmware....any ideas or you think the front usb port is dead already ?

Which VU+ receiver do you have?
Did you download the correct version, of 2.1.1, for your receiver?
Did you format the USB stick to FAT 32, prior to loading the vuplus folder?
Have you got another USB stick you can try?

tried several sticks worked fine yesterday today none work all fat32 its just booting straight through...do you think if I unmount to hdd ? and try again

Are you sure you got an original Vu+?

looks like a clone for f%C$ sake...that why its dead in the water already ??
strange though my dads got the same box with blackhole 2.0.8 running fine on it

Clones are of varying quality, from poor, to absolute rubbish.
Return it to your supplier, demand a full refund, including cost of returning it, then buy a genuine VU+ receiver.

I got onto him about the problem hes back at 9 online he lives in Ireland so I bet im gonna be stuck with the return bill...was a really good service looks like 2.0.8 killed the box and that's the reason I cant know reflash...is it correct the bootloader will have been wiped and the flash ?

If you have a f*****g clone, here there is nothing for you.
I'm sorry but clones read our Board rules, are not supported and not wanted.
