Can I use a VU+ receiver to use CI+ digital TV subscription

Vu+ Newbie
Total newb here. Sorry if this is a ridiculously basic question.

Our cable service uses Common Interface (CI+) to deliver our subscription to us. We just got a new TV that we realized isn't CI+ enabled.

If we buy a VU+ device (one that supports Common Interface), can we just plug in our "DigiCard" (CAM + smart card) to the VU+ and then HDMI into our TV? Or am I making some major oversight here?

Thanks and apologies again for the basic question!

Probably with SoloSE, SoloSEv2, Solo2 and Duo2.
I've tested HD+ CI+ module into Duo2 and works regularly.
