I am using Blackhole 1.7.0 and my cross epg wont auto update , if i restart GUI it then updates once and thats it.

I think the first thing you have to do is update img, we have now BH 205, you have 170, it is very old
Then we can check what is the problem.

Yes, you have to save settings before doing it.

It all depens on what you want to save.
For normal configurazione you can use software manager, but if you want to save something particular you have to set it up.
But we are offtopic here.
