D-Link DWL-G122 USB Adapter detected but no internet

Hi everyone,

I have a VU+ Uno running BH 2.0.2.

Usually it's connected to a D-Link DSL-2640R modem/router via ethernet cable.
I would like to connect it via wifi, so I used my D-Link DWL-G122 USB dongle that came bundled with the router.

I inserted the dongle and rebooted the receiver, after reboot it is detected as a wlan adapter, I disabled wifi encryption (no wep, no wpa/wpa2) to avoid any encryption problems and then I tried with :

- DHCP on
- Gateway 192.168.1.1
- DNS : 192.168.1.1

The IP address is assigned so no problem there, I can ping it from my laptop, but there is no internet connection.

When I launch the network test, everything is OK/green except for the Name server (DNS).

I also tried to disable DHCP and set a static IP but the problem remains the same (Name server not ok).

The usb adapter chipset is listed as Ralink RT2070 here : https://wikidevi.com/wiki/D-Link_DWL-G122_rev_E1 , but in the VU+ Uno menu it is detected as rt5572sta.

I tried installing this driver : http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/threads/ralink-rt5572-driver-v2-6-1-3.11764/

But it didn't help.

So does anybody know how to solve this problem please ?

PS : I tried using both front and rear usb ports.
