Yes we request admin to please ask VU as they are not responding to our e-mails, when a china made receiver for for 2 USD tuner can scan all the TPs than why should 600 USD VU receivers not? we are waiting for almost an year now for the solution...... please admin contact VU team for the solution. THANKS

VU+ dont reply to emails because alll models come with poor quality tuners

vu+ uno
vu+ ultimo

All these models not supporting higher symbols rates and they will never reply u because they know they have faulty hardware

Just to check, I just positioned my dish at 45E, Intelsat 12, to scan in the channels on 11550 V 30000 DVB-S2 8PSK 3/4, and had no problem.
But of course these are the channels using the European beam, as there is no way I can check 11550 V 28800 DVB-S2 8PSK 3/5, which is on the India beam.

Of course these receivers work with high Symbol Rates.
I have channels scanned in that include 27500, 29700, 29900, and 30000

do u think 30000 is higher symbol rate ????

higher symbol rates means above 40000 like 40700,44995 ,45000,49999 and above all receivers not working on 44995 symbol rate on st2 88 east

As you can read the poster is discussing S/R 28800, if you wish to discuss anything different then start your own thread and stop spamming the forum.
I don't know how many times I can tell you that most of us live in Europe, and have no access to the satellitesyou're discussing, so we can't check on your problems.
Please stop hi-jacking other peoples threads, to promote your problems with VU+.

You aren't even interested in helping, regarding the posters problem, which has absolutely NOTHING to do with a high symbol rate, 28800 is not a high symbol rate, but is possibly due to two providers, using the same transponder, and polarity, one on the Europe beam, and one on the India beam.
As I am in Europe I can only test the Euopean beam, and that scans in fine, which makes me think it might have something to do with the sastellites.xml file, or other software, I can't imagine it being a hardware problem, unless it involves external interference, e.g. a DECT telephone, which we know can cause problems, on certain frequencies.

If you want to contact VU+, then contact them, I doubt anyone, from the manufacturers visit the forum, and I equally doubt anyone, connected with the forum, has contact with the VU+ manufacturers.
If your receiver doesn't work, i.e. unfit for purpose, then contact your supplier, explain the problem, and either ask them to fix it, or exchange it. Your supplier certainly has more influence, with VU+, than a satellite forum.

If you don't like Vu+ sold it and buy another brand: stop spamming and spitting against Vu+.
PS: my Duo2 works wery well!!!!

I've wrote some emails to Vu+ Dev Team via www.vuplus.com and they have not replied but they have read my message and fixed the issue I've reported and this is the only thing I evaluate: SOLUTIONS.

TPs with 44995 SR @ 88.2E are designed for Indian area... so make direct tests for Vu+ can be more difficult if they not have a direct TP to make tests and verify hardware tuners and drivers....
Remember: Dev Team is made by people ... they are not machines.

they dont have access to this Indian beam transponder is sheer lie actually they are not taking it seriously

VU+ technical team consist of many experts from all over the world and being in satellite business i know many of them and few of them belong to India and Pakistan and i had conversation with them because since years of relation they know me

As a matter of fact VU+ team knows everything but they know all these STB had tuners which dont support these symbol rates thats why they are silent and will not disclose anything

So you mean VU+ is pathetic company who claims their STB supports symbol rates up to 45000 as described in product description but they launched in the market without testing them ????

if this is the case they should shut this business and do something else if they are not capable of providing support to customers

if they could not test transponder .they should advice don't buy their products for asian region. if these symbol rates service in Europe they could also advice not to buy them.because people paid considerable amount of money to get those boxes.very sad plight for vu+ customers
