Dish not moving.

Hi All,
I have a problem with my Mot/Dish and before I buy a new one I ould like some advice.

Alsat Superior Dark motor I have used for 4years without fault.....now refuses to budge....tried Usals,Advanced Mode,will not even move east/west with positioner setup.
Checked coaxial cable and connections and refitted F plugs...no joy,removed motor from pole and brought indoors next to my receiver..short bit of coaxial to A tuner, motor will turn east/west with manual buttons on the unit, but cannot control from receiver.Even working manually could my motor be goosed or could my receiver be at fault?
My tuners work fine on a fixed dish @ Astra 28.2.

Before follow the hint, check if your rotor is USALS compatible or it's a DisecQ 1.2 rotor. Only if you have a USALS unit continue reading.
I suggest to follow instructions for your motor to reset it and retry to move the dish with your box.

its been working on Usals for 4 years,
I have reset it.
I now have the motor in my house next to my receiver.
I have selected setup/service searching/positioner set up/positioner movement/
Select Yellow tab....both East and West led lights are flashing at the same time..Red tab same....motor not moving...but will move with manua buttons on motor.
as power is getting to the motor....
1. the motor is not accepting a signal from the receiver.
2. the receiver is not sending a signal to the motor.

M y receiver is still under warranty....but dont know without buying a new motor if it is faulty

Sometime my CT HH390 has the same issues but in my situation it's sufficient to retach all coax cables and put them in to solve the problem (my rotor is 4y old )

Hi, i had a same issue just today,, SOLO2 not work with diseqc motor.. and diplexer between. and its 100% confirmed issue, becouse i must put an old DUO instead of great solo2.. also the other GM....(whatever) and dream500 works in same place.
the same solo2 also works in other place whe no diplexer in system..
not even the manual 1.2 settnigs helped.. sipmel cannot find the position-- always can move back to 0 (astra19) but novhere else and back..

Guys, just write this becouse of the warning to others who faced with this problem.. it pitty, and i cannot explain, not even solve the thing--

will post it somewhere else too..
