Hi looking for a wifi adapter that works on the vu+ ultimo at 5ghz looking at these two

USB-N53,D-Link Xtreme DWA-160 N Dual Band i know only certain versions work does anyone have one working they could recommend thanks​

I've made a search for dwa-160 devices and this is the result:

Rev A1 and A2 should works with carl9170 driver (available for Vu+ boxes)
Rev B1 is a ralink 2870 device and doesen't work correctly (uses rt2870 driver or rt2800USB)
Rev B2 uses rt5572 but I haven't compiled it

Thanks for the reply bit suprised at that found this thread which recommended version b1 but it is for uno would that matter.

It didn't work on my VU+ SOLO 2 with Blackhole 2.1.2
is there a solution to install directly the driver on vu+

On consulting the manufacturer of your device ( Belkin F7D4101 v2 ):

There are only drivers for: OS Compatibility: Windows 8 32bit; Windows 8 64bit; Windows 8.1 32bit; Windows 8.1 64bit; Windows 7 32bit; Windows 7 64bit; Windows Vista 32bit; Windows Vista 64bit.
So, there is probably no support for your device under Linux O.S..

I´ve searched too for Linux drivers and wiki chipset information about your device, and there is no support for Linux too.
In such case, when the device is not support under Linux, it will be unsupported too on enigma2 STB.
But maybe @angelofsky1980, read this thread, and complete the answer to your issue.

We can start with debug file for wifi (http://www.vuplus-community.net/boa...images-debug-script-per-le-immagini-bh.21512/ ) to determine the USB IDs used by your device.
