I bought a used torodial dish and along with this dish I got a couple of dcSS lnb which I would like to use. I need som help getting these configured properly. I know it has to be configured in advanced mode but I don't know the manufacturers name. I guess I need this to get it working.Right?
I tried to configure as universal lnb but the signal went from 94% to 0 continuously.Specs pic included.

If your signal is fluctuating, wildly, it's generally a problem with your set up, generally a cable shorting out, possibly due to the braid breaking, or not making contact.
Try re-doing all your connections, and bypass the Diseqc switch, if using one.

No, that¨'s not the problem. Cable is ok. I just switched my universal lnb with this dcss lnb and it started fluctuating because the setup is wrong for this lnb. Tha't what I want to correct. Using a universal lnb there is no fluctuation at all.

I can only help you in which direction you should look for info.

We have more information on the unicable / Jess configuration on this forum
but you can look on the WW net.

Unfortunately I have no experience with this because I have not used unicable / Jess.
(I don't have Duo 2 receiver at the moment only 4K receiver. I don't know if the configuration is the same)
We have on the forum those who know for sure.

First of all
It is not a universal LNB but a Unicable dcss/ Jess LNB.

I believe it's this one ???
https://www.gestrikeantennservice.com/single-cable-lnb-med-24-band/
translated
https://translate.google.com/transl...tennservice.com/single-cable-lnb-med-24-band/
So it should be configured as Unicable / Jess
It is possible that there is a similar one in the list (Try to compare IF channel frequencies they are listed in the link) and if not i believe it should be configured as Unicable User defined.
So Configuration Mode advanced
LOF Unicable
Unicable Configuration Mode Unicable User defined
Diction mode Jess (EN50607)

On the link above I saw a list of channels / frequencies used by that Unicable (of course if it's that LNB)
i guess these are the frequencies you have to configure in advanced mode for SatCR channels each channel separately.
So look for more information if you don't already get it here
or experiment.

If I understood correctly
The LNB appears to have 24 frequencies and can cover 24 bands
and as many as three receivers / tuners ???

Maybe this will help you if it is CD in scandinavia and you get their SatCR LNB

It is not in the list of choosable unicable/JESS LNB and their is not enough information available to make a userdefined LNB

However it will work if you choose manufacture DUR SAT (Durline) and model UK124

A tuner definition looks like

Tuner X
Configuration mode: Advanced
Satellite: 0.8W
LNB: LNB 1
Priority: Auto
Type of LNB/Device: SCR(Unicable/Jess)
Manufacturer: DUR SAT (durline)
Model: UK124
Position: 1
Channel: User band x (xxxx)
Connected: Yes
Connected to: Tuner Y (one with wire attached)
DiSEqC mode: None
Force legacy signal stats: No

Both have same outgoing frequencies which are:
UB01 1210MHz
UB02 1420MHz
UB03 1680MHz
UB04 2040MHz
UB05 1005MHz
UB06 1050MHz
UB07 1095MHz
UB08 1140MHz
UB09 1260MHz
UB10 1305MHz
UB11 1350MHz
UB12 1475MHz
UB13 1520MHz
UB14 1565MHz
UB15 1610MHz
UB16 1725MHz
UB17 1770MHz
UB18 1815MHz
UB19 1860MHz
UB20 1905MHz
UB21 1950MHz

I have carried out a brief internet search, using the attached image, in your first post.
Does your LNB look like this?
