external dvd player, vu duo2

ive bought a rxternal usb dvd reader/writer for my vu duo2, i have plugged it in, and i can see it in media player, but i cant play any dvd, what could be the problem?

do i need to install anything else?

Enable DVD Player in BH Speed Up (Blue>Blue) and use externally powered USB HUB to power DVD unit.

i have enabled dvd player in BH speedup, i heavent used an external Power supply though. do i need that?

when i enter the dvd player plugin i cant see any playable files, i have a original dvd disc in the player, not a dvd copy.

You have to use externally powered USB hub. External DVD player "eats" more then 500 mA from USB port. Mostly in spin-up phase.

Yes. If DVD can't spin, it can't read the files on disc.

i got it to work, i took the Power from our wii console, it work great,
Is it possible to get dvd player in the main menu instead of the plugin menu?
