Fan control pwm value settings

What is your value there?
Default value was 10, but my hdd temp was very high, 47 C.
I tried with 80 and it has fallen to 42 C in 15 min.

But maybe pwm 80 is too high,i don't know..

I thought solo2 has automatic fan control against overheating..

So, what's your value of pwm in this hot days?
And what should be optimal hdd temp in standy?

I think mine is set to 90 or 110, can't check at the moment as not plugged in.
My temperature is about 40-42 with room temp of 22-34 so the fan is keeping temp constant in different room temperatures.
It concerned me a bit also thats why I remember, but have not played with settings recently.

isn't 90-110 pwm to high?
i thought my 80 (now i put it on 50) is too high.
i don't know how long can fan work in that speed :)

I don't know to be honest, was just fastest I could have it without noticeable noise.
Figured would be cheaper to change fan than other components.

47 C temperature was not problematic for modern HDD
temperature more than 50-55 C can shorten the life of HDD

But it is not quite well-tested and depends on other factors.
In general all under 50C is good.
